Meditation has been around for over 4,000 years. It's not spiritual at all. Its practice has biological consequences on our brains. The goal isn't to think about nothing, because that's impossible; our brains are made to think. With practice, we can decide what we want to think about. So, if a stressful topic keeps coming up, we learn to stop letting it overwhelm and control us. We learn to stop being a victim.
- To answer this question, we need some biological basics, we need to understand:
- What is stress,
- How it becomes chronic,
- Why it is toxic and pathogenic,
- How our brain communicates with the outside world.
- explanations about the brain, stress, birth and the role of emotions, why and how meditation has a biological impact on our brain...
- a time of meditation including mental preparation for concentration and imagination, gentle physical movements and deep breathing activating the diaphragm.
- A good anti-stress lifestyle reflex.
- A break for your brain, which is constantly and exhaustingly used every day.
- A concrete and effective tool to have control over your emotions.
- A range of new sensations in the body and mind.
The perfect combo to take control of your stress.
